It is always a challenge for transnational artists with multiple marginalized identities and intersecting oppressions to gain access to Munich independent arts communities to establish an art praxis. Experiences of discrimination, language, structural and bureaucratic barriers present a great challenge for such artists even to make a start.

The Information and networking day curated by Keith Zenga King will include tips and advice on making a start, discrimination, and negotiation of fees for independent artists. In these ever, still, challenging times for artists and cultural makers, this information and networking evening hopes to offer a space for artists and cultural makers with multiply marginalized identities and intersecting oppressions to generate knowledge, breathe new life into their practices  and build radical  solidarities. Artists for Artists is the theme for this evening.

The Information and Networking Day, which will be realized within the scope of the nationwide project “Guides to the Independent Arts Communities“, is organised by Theaterbüro München and curated by Keith Zenga King.
