Kopfkino – City Walks takes listeners on literary listening tours through Munich. The podcast series has been published regularly on the HochX channel since spring 2020. In addition to the podcasts, which will continue to appear, the team is also working on live performances of the texts on location in the city.

KOPFKINO-PODCAST me BACK:

We are expanding the city portrait and would like to invite listeners to hear the episode on location and share their observations with us.
So we put a yellow old post bike at the yellow mailboxes at Odeonsplatz. There you will find a box in the bike basket in front with two options:

  • POSTCARD ME BACK: Postcards that can be written on and should be put into the box. Instructions for this can also be found on the yellow bike.
  • PODCAST ME BACK: a telephone number can be called, which can also be found on the yellow bike. An answering machine will pick up there. After the beep, everyone has about 30 seconds to share their observation or/and mood.

Q&A via Zoom

Too much cinema in your head? We bring clarity to the matter and answer the questions of our listeners! Who is behind the microphone and mixing desk? Where is the recording done? What does a home studio look like? And anyway – what is the whole thing supposed to be? Another podcast? For walking around the city? Huh?

We also invite you to preview the release of episode #14 by and with Jule Ronstedt on June 07, 2021, 8 pm. Nothing can be revealed about the content yet, because the text for the episode is in the making – and even we don’t know what’s going on in the author’s head!

And we also invite you to do this:
Walk live with the Kopfkino team through the city! Equipped with microphone, mobile mixer and radio headphones (distance guaranteed!) for our fellow hikers, you can experience the city in a whole new way and recognize the familiar, discover the unknown anew.

Should Covid-19 in all variations and the location let us, we will offer several performances on 10, 11 and 12 June 2021. Tickets are available at HochX (max. 2 weeks before the planned dates!) We are looking forward to diligent city walkers!
